Ahman Rashad Green; born February 16,1977 is a former American football running back who played 12 years in the National Football League (NFL) Green was born in Omaha, Nebraska ~ raised in Los Angeles, California returning to Omaha where he attended Omaha North before transferring to Omaha Central High School. He was a two time All American First Team Selection ~ A First Team USA High School Male Player of the Year. In addition Ahman was State Champion in the 100, 200 meter dash and the 4x1 relay at the State Track Meet. Ahman was All American in Track and also Academic All American. Green was a stand out Running back and three year starter for The University of Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was an integral component and a key contributor on two National Championship Teams. During his three-year collegiate career, Green compiled 3,880 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns, both totals good for a second place on the Cornhuskers “ALL TIME” list He also posted 300 receiving yards. Green’s most memorable collegiate performance was on January 2, 1998 in the Orange Bowl. He rushed for an Orange Bowl record 206 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-17 Orange Bowl victory over Tennessee, breaking the previous 20 year old record held by Arkansas Running-back Roland Sales. After completing his junior year at The University of Nebraska ~ Green was drafted in the third round the 1998 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. In 2000, Green was traded to the Green Bay Packers where he played until completed the 2006 season he became a free agent. From the time Ahman has joined the Packers he has broke several franchise records.
On March 4, 2007 Ahman signed a contract with the Houston Texans where he played 2 seasons. Ahman resigned with the Green Bay Packers in 2009. November 8, 2009 Green Broke Jim Taylor’s 43 year old record to become the “ALL TIME LEADING RUSHER” in Packer history.

August 11, 2011 Ahman officially announced his retirement from the NFL.
September 21, 2012 Green was inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame.
July 19, 2014 Green was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
January 2015 Green was inducted into the Orange Bowl Classic Hall of Fame.
Fall of 2015 Green was inducted into Central High Hall of Fame.
Ahman created his own foundation to expand his dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
The Ahman Green Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to enhancing the quality of life of children and families whose lives have been impacted by hardships or terminal illness.
Through his work with The Ahman Green Foundation Ahman has been able to help children and adults battling cancer, raising funds and awareness for cancer resource centers, animal sanctuaries, food pantries, rescue missions, youth development to name a few. In addition to his work with his foundation, Ahman is also very active in helping other organizations including The Alzheimer’s Association; Make a Wish Foundation, Wounded Warriors, and Boys and Girls Club of Wisconsin and Nebraska.
Ahman is currently co-owner of D1 Green Bay Sports Training & Therapy Facility ~ another opening soon in Mason Arizona.
Also, Ahman covers the Packers as the co-host of both the “Locker Room” and “Green & Gold Gameday Live”
Ahman and his wife Marie reside in De Pere, WI and through previous marriages have 5 children together.
