Safety is WHY We Do It
Concerned about head injury? We are, too!
That's why we make safety our #1 priority!

There are risks in every sport, and it's no secret that tackle football presents risks. We are strong proponents of delaying tackle football for children before 8th grade. Our experienced coaches know that it is not necessary for children to enter tackle football at earlier ages in order to become great at the sport. There is so much about football that can be taught and learned before tackling even needs to be considered. This is why we've built remarkable training programs and flag leagues that allow athletes who are serious about football to learn an extensive amount about football without having to join a tackle team. For older children who have developed a great foundation of those fundamental skills, tackle football may become a desirable option... so now we've built the bridge so that these players may transition into tackle with preparation and safe tactics!
We strongly believe that the best defense against risk of injury is a strong knowledge of the sport and of the mechanics needed for contact. No player should enter tackle football without learning how to safely make tackles as well as safely avoid them. A player can't account for the actions of the opponent of the other side of the ball, but there are specific maneuvers and techniques he can learn to can decrease risk of injury in the event that the opposing player isn't as skilled at making safe contact. Kids who are trained in these maneuvers are that much safer on the field. Kids who play it smart, play it safe. And we're here to teach SMART FOOTBALL. Our coaches/trainers include former NCAA players who have worked with NFL players, and they have years of experience and knowledge to share with your kids. |
